MR. PETER KREMBS is a Fellow, University of Minnesota Executive Development Programs at the Carlson School of Management, and is also on the faculty of the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland. He has over 30 years of experience as a consultant to major US and international corporations in leadership development, strategic planning and as an executive coach. Mr. Krembs specializes in the unique issues found in professional and expert-based cultures, including science, technology, financial services and health care. Some of his current clients include: Applied Materials, The Mayo Clinic, Medtronic, Teradyne, and Wellington Management, and he was a faculty member of the GE “Technical Manager Course” in the US, Europe, India and Asia for almost 20 years. Mr. Krembs’ essay, “Leadership Challenges in Technical and Professional Organizations” appears in the book, Leadership in a New Era, edited by John Renesch and published in 1994. Co-author of On-The-Level, Performance Communication that Works, Mr. Krembs has also written on how to set performance expectations, give and receive feedback and facilitate coaching discussions about learning and development on the job.
